It is All Happening in Your Mind

Our tendency to be attached to our own thoughts, emotions, and our lives, can make us that it is in fact real, that our lives might be awful, that things are crumbling down around us, that whatever happens to us is the worst. But it is all but our self obsession that make it seem that way, and more likely than not, it is all mostly just happening in our minds. And, that it is mostly fine in the external, in reality.

Solving The Problem of Human Perception

Humans are very biased machines that perceive the world in a very particular narrow and animal like way shaped by billions of years of evolution, yet we all think reality is no different from what our senses allow us to perceive.
How to Never Feel Anxious Again

We all feel anxiety on the daily and are so used to it that we assume it is how it should be, that worrying and unrest are just something that is inherently part of us, but there are ways to actually become relatively free of anxiety, worry, unease, guilt, doubt, while also being a functional human. #hopecore #corecore

We're All Alone

Can a lover, a parent, a sibling, a bestfriend ever truly get to make us not feel alone, and if they can, to what extent can they truly do so? And to turn things around, have ever remedied someone else's loneliness? Of course, we are not always in an unending state of loneliness, otherwise we'd all blow our brains out, we use others to not feel alone, to feel connected, but at the end of the da...

If you want to support my quantum insanity or see more content like this www.patreon.com/HowtoHuman805 What is the truest thing? Is it matter? The things we can touch, feel, use, and clearly sense that are there? Or is it the laws of physics? Of the universe? Like gravity, time? And where do we fit in all that? Can we really judge what is true? I mean we probably can't but perhaps science can. ...

You forget the part that deviation from the norm makes you the weird one which brings misunderstanding and becoming a social outcast. Absolutely creativity embraces taboos and things people may find offence in

When somebody makes an inside joke, the outsider is left confused. The only way to understand is to ask...inquire...to know. I think this is why we're so intrigued by horror. Specifically...the uncanny. Because then the question becomes "what does this say about us". The artists who see and create were able to see and create within a human frame. This comes from us. Or at least us capable of coming from us and so it speaks of one's capability for such. When push comes to shove, we all are capable of great evil. This is why the whole "nature knows how dangerous the gift of creativity is and so it gives it to a select few knowing 19 of the 20 will parish" doesn't make sense to me. Everything is a choice. And we are drawn to the morbid. If you're a creative, no matter what you go through in life, you can make art out of it. You can't let that consume your life. It can trap you and leave you stuck in the past when the present moment is waiting for you to be molded. The way we live our lives can be art as well, and GOD is watching. Not all art is good.

I’ve been feeling this more & More for about two years. Sitting with ayahuasca cleansed the doors of perception. I feel like I’ve been lost in the chaos & creative potency ever since. I want to die almost daily. I do feel like some sacrificial pawn.

Thank you for sharing your insight and philosophy. I find that creativity makes me somewhat separate from other people - even when they can see the results of my work. But that does not happen amongst creative people themselves. WE KNOW we are crazy. Our project to help others to not be too concerned about that.

Discovering this video and the comment section is a blessing. Being a creative individual is painful, and it hurts more when you struggle to find others who face and understand the same feelings you have. Both the video and this entire comment section resonates with me so well. I spent like 10 minutes reading these comments, and I spent a good 10-15 minutes writing down on my note app a bunch of creative things that came to mind when reflecting on what I had just read. When you stop and think about it, this comment section reveals only a small percentage of highly creative people. There are way more creative individuals out there, and many of them are struggling with the same problems we are all facing here. Crazy to think too that many creative individuals in history probably lived their lives never meeting other creative individuals. This comment section contains more creative individuals than I can imagine meeting in the span of several years. There's a lot that comes to mind, but I struggle to write precisely what ideas my chaotic mind is communicating to me -- and this is of course one of the curses of creativity that this video discusses (also, I would be writing this comment forever if I were to continue lol).

Great video! I get anxious when I forget that life is divided into two parts; a journey, and a destination/outcome. I forget that I can subdivide all that happens in my life into smaller journeys that also have their own destinations/outcomes. When I remember this and I try to imagine what it would feel like if the destinations/outcomes were all removed from the universe and did not exist at all, I find myself feeling less anxious. I think this might be because at that stage I am imagining experiencing life as only a journey.

It's both sad and funny to me when people try to cheer me up by telling me how smart and talented I am. I remember crying every night in eighth grade wishing I was normal instead of those things. I couldn't relate to anyone around me. I still can't. The isolation is the worst part for me.

Creativity and creating is just expressing yourself to the highest degree, it's not supposed to be chaotic, it's a signal that you tune into and use not just a gift, everyone is creative just some better at finding that universal signal

The vision is seen in crystal clarity for a split second , the rest is the attempt to capture it .. the curse is being left with a part of that vision , that can never be re-captured or communicated due to its profound 'reality"

I’ve always thought creativity was a huge gift, and the point of it was to share the insights and share it with others. So it’s about communication even though the real blessing is that you can reach these things at all

Being/expressing creativity takes persistence and courage. Creativity does not have a causal relation with mental illness. As a 76 year old social activist and working artists, I find it simpler to allow "Nuero Norms" to think I am or behave or dress oddly. If I walk around wearing black clothes, a kafia and a black hat, I know the that smart, curious people will accept me and dumb people will be afraid or or jealous of me and will not take up my time

i've always believed my artistic abilities come from my mental illness: manic depression. it's like my super power. i hate taking medication because it stunts that power. however, the price i have to pay is my own sanity. i still have this dilemma to this day-to take my meds and become stable while sacrificing the highs of creating? or to stop taking my meds and unleashing a monster both glorious and hellish that no one has ever seen before. it's bad romanticizing this idea of a "tortured artist" but it is real, as real as it gets.

Beautiful video. To anyone suffering that resonates with this, after many years of struggling I've learned two things I wish I'd known in my younger years that might be of use to others: 1. Your thoughts CREATE your feelings. And creative minds can think powerfully, both positively and negatively. I suffered severe depressions that were unknowingly of my own making - negative thoughts created negative feelings, which made more negative thoughts and the spiral deepened. Try and solve the core problems that affect you (I greatly encourage therapy to help this process), but also find a practice for becoming present so you can quieten the noise (v much recommend meditation but there are many other practices too). 2. We are not broken, or weak. We are sensitive -- to the minutiae of our artform, but also to the rest of the world. Do not feel shame or guilt because you don't like being around that group of friends, or have to break up with that person, or leave that job, or change that song - we feel things deeply and sometimes that means we have to make different choices to create the best version of our life. Owning that I'm sensitive (which if you're a man is not culturally encouraged in many places) has really helped frame the highs and lows of my experience in life. I had to leave that party not because there's something wrong with me, but I have a gift with some associated drawbacks :) Let's keep ourselves stable so we can change the world!!
